Poem idea:
Begin by listing things you have done or plan to do in life and end with Jozsef's line, "life of my own deciding!". Write a poem celebrating your freedom to do as you choose. What have you done with your freedom?

Life of my own decidngs

To have a day with nothing to do,
To sleep every day until noon,
To go to concerts every night,
To learn only the things that I like,
To sing and dance on the street,
To fly like a bird and be free.

To wake up early in the morning,
To be mute to every warning,
To do all of my homework on Saturday,
To read books every day
To have a little animal who’s fluffy
To get a five from Geography
To make my family really happy,
To be very-very snappy,
To watch series if I want,
To be able to do things that I now can’t
To listen to music in 24 hours,
To live in London and see the Tower,
To watch a drama in the real Globe,
To wear in winters color gloves,
To travel all around the world,
To drive a car, and hurl,
To go down to the sea shore,
To wait there for a ride on a white horse
To write a book impacting others,
And not to die as an unnoticed writer.
To have the final truth for my life guiding
life of my own deciding!

Life of my own deciding

To dance in the summer rain,
to run after a moving train,
to not give a shit and sleep all day,
to say to random people: Hey!,
to sip hot chocolate in the winter,
to spread the whole world with glitter,
to fly away as free as birds,
to love someone so much it hurts.

This grabbed my attention. Even though it's short, its what everybody can relate too; the idea of chasing love, but maybe having to give up. I loved how you mentioned other everyday activities along with the fact of the broken heart. You can see the type of person you are through this poem! What inspired you to write a simple but meaningful poem?

Im happy you liked my poem. There was nothing particular that inspired me, and I mixed up every kind of activities, feelings in one poem, because these are also mixed up in real life, and they are not separated.

To sleep over twenty-four hours,
To drink champagne and expensive wine
To eat ice-cream all day long,
To sing out loud my favourite song,
To save somebody's life without help,
To read in someone's mind for a moment,
To travel around the world with a friend,
To live a life with a happy end,
To make somebody's wish come true,
To be the first one in the queue,
To earn and spend a lot of money,
To invent something really funny,
To be a princess for a day,
To change February to May.
To live, to love, to laugh, to cry,
To shout, to hug, to learn, to fly.

To see the Sun rising,
To follow an eagle flying
To sail away on the sea
To feel how is it to be free
To never lose the ones I love
To always see the sky above
To save the beautiful rainforest,
To put back a baby bird in its nest,
To wake up people who are blind with money,
To thank the bees for making sweet honey,
To ride the wind and fly with dragons
To climb a tree covered with flowers
To understand the ways of the world,
To do my best before growing old,
To travel, to help, to see clear,
To stay a child and always believe.

I think you really captured what people think in a way to make it very interesting. I can easily relate to this because this is how I think about things most of the time. Have you ever actually done any of those things before?

I'm glad you think that way:) Some lines are dream, or at least rather idealistic. But I love watching the sunrise and climbing trees. We once put back a baby bird in the nest. But this is more like a poem of what I want to do and what my dreams are.

To feel, to see, to be, to lead

To know everything you want,
to feel the feelings of others,
to see what everybody sees,
to be somebody who leads.
To understand all the moves,
to move like it needed,
to stay in your own comfort,
to be yourself in this league.
To realize when you have
to get out from you home,
to do always what you want,
to trick others what they want.
To make everybody belive,
you know what is good,
cause you see,
and you will lead.

To travel to the moon
To read an ancient rune
To dance on the grave of Heath Ledger
To sing it loud: "I'm a hairy badger"
To travel around the world with a shopping cart
To extract some energy out of my fart
To do a barrel roll at a class
To stop a train with my ass
I'd do all of them, nothing less
Let's finish it with a rhyme: bass

To do something for the people
To separate good from the evil
To lead men, for the good of the cause
To have energy that always flows
To never forget my motives
To stay close to my relatives
To know the world and understand it
To not even once be stranded
To pogo until my whole body hurts
To kiss at the same moment two girls
To always stretch on my limits
To hit the max score on the tippmix
To be a professional writer
To know more tricks as a biker
To have a cup of Ballantines
To not break up on Valentine's
To give once an engagement ring
To always calmly do my thing

To drink a cup of lemon tea in the morning

To feel the summer raindrops on your skin
To shout things that nobody understand
To don't do things I can't stand
To live fast and die satisfied
To find out what life would be like...

To decide what you really want,
to want what you truly need,
(to realize, that’s grueling,)
to try it with enthusiasm,
to do what you should,
to fail and fall in a hole,
to get up and be strong,
to try again and stay strong!
To reach it, without hurting anyone.
To notice that’s life…

to win to lose to die,

to win a match with buzzer-beater
to keep a wild animal
to be beautiful
not to be a fool
to have a good internet
to use your computer perfect
to be a billionaire
and not a camel
to have a nice weekend
and not an avareage level
to be famous and clever
and not to be a high-jacker

To dance like nobodies watching you
To be kissed like you would want it to.
To catch your train what's being early,
To get dressed pretty girly.
To make friends with everybody,
To live life really wisely.
To pretend you have nothing to worry,
When inside you have a houndred things to carry.
To smile through your pain,
Just show that you don't care.

To ken her eyes
To smell her scent
To see those smiles
To hold her hand
To kiss her lips
To touch her waist
To watch her hips
To feel the beast
To push her down
To get above
To put in all
Then get it off
To be reversed
To pleasure her
To loose control
That I prefer
To get back up
To sense her lust
To feel her tight
The girl I trust
To melt in groove:
are perfect things
The life of my
own deciding.

To see the both sides of life
The half empty or half full glass
To feel the rain on your skin
To get a cold, before you can get in
To laugh on a joke only some understand
To not remember how it ends
To write a letter with your hand
To see when the postman brings it back
To be a child and play in the snow
To think there’s too cold now
To see your mother’s happy smiles
To shed your tears as she does
To remember all these things in life
All that made you cry
And all that made you laugh.

To shoot a glance at a special person,
To hide when I'm in a confused situation,
To behave like a simple mortal,
To be confident like a famous lawyer,
To suffer from the life's objections,
To solve my problems without hesitations,
To say hello when I see my enemies,
To don't deal with big tragedies,
To be a winner in a huge discussion,
To always prove my own opinion,
To have a longewity with smiling,
Life of my own deciding!

Life of my own deciding

To see of a mountain the sunrise
To sit in the light like a wise
To play with spring breeze
To smile and to fall on my knees
To bring pure water of a source
To tear rose without force
To close my eyes, to feel the sunshine
To be together having some glass of wine
To hear a cat purring
To get an engagement ring
To eat fragrant marchpane
(To never become fat, 'cause I'm vain)
To hide of the thunderstorm
To have more life form
To dance and sing all the time
To continue it in the rain, for me it's fine
To boat on the sky after the stars appear
To understand people so clear
To fall asleep like a person
who had do everything and won

To Be

To walk around with my outdoor shoes on
To sing off tune to Ed Sheeran’s songs
To leave my laundry in a pile on the floor
To take the battery out of the phone
To let the ketchup dry on the plate
To take a hammer to that chandelier
To hop in and out of consciousness
To see how long I could hold my breath
To tear out an entry of the diary
To rewrite it all, how it should’ve been
To sprinkle sugar on the „walking-by”s
To see them confused, marinate in their frown
To eat the strawberry off the cake
To see behind the old-old frame-
hold,
To know there’s alarms and a 5 digit code
To have taken the battery out of the phone
To not see behind the old old frame
To have eaten the strawberry off the cake
To have let the ketchup dry on the plate
Having let the code seal my fate.
