“A seed from the Great Willow”

I won a race with such grace
I turned the track with a steady pace
I learned to tie my shoelace
I learned how to shave the hair upon my face

I scored my first touchdown
The opponents looked at me & started to frown
Newman football, the best in town
Looking for a king, well we wear the crown

I scored my goal on varsity soccer
Friends screamed my name while I walked to my locker
I’m a bomb chef
Call me Betty Crocker

I threw a shutout in my baseball game
Windsor’s field was pretty lame
Jaguars is what I have learned to tame
Their baseball players now know my name

“Basketball”

Basketball is our favorite sport
I like the way you dribble up and down the court
I like dunks they take me to the hoop
My favorite play is the alley-oop.

I like the pick ‘n roll
I like the give ‘n go
I like Magic, Bird and Heking
I like to guard my man dear
I like Muhammad Ali
Float like a butterfly
Sting like a bee
Brake Lee kicks
Sean Johnson splits

Then Ray Lewis blitz
But basketball kicks
Ass!
